Competitions
for both professionals and highschool students is provided by the Chapter.

Conferences in both the Pittsburgh area and in conjunction with Northeast Ohio Chapter have been scheduled for the benefit of members and nonmembers.

Employment - The Pittsburgh chapter hosts a list of local and regional employment opportunities. If you need a technical writer, also see our list of available writers.

Forum - The Pittsburgh Chapter now has a discussion forum available for anyone who registers.

Meetings held by the Pittsburgh Chapter are scheduled September through May and announced on the Calendar page of our Web site, by postcards to chapter members, and by e-mail to our mailing list.

Recognition of distinguished Chapter members has always been an important part of Chapter activities.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide networking and special interest meetings and programs for members.

WorkQuest™ is a support group for technical communicators who are looking for work.

Consulting and Independent Contracting SIG (CIC SIG) provides programs and networking opportunities for independent writers, freelancers, and consultants, as well as individuals who serve as a company's only technical writer.
