STC PITTSBURGH CHAPTER 2009

I know things have been fairly quiet so far this year, but I just wanted to let you know that the Society for Technical Communication Pittsburgh Chapter hasn’t forgotten about you. This year has come with a few changes including our chapter President Bryce Walat getting married in October. Congratulations! Other changes include: our Treasurer Marlene Miller retiring along with STC Budget changes,  a switch from monthly meetings to bi-monthly events, a new Job Board, our Blue Pencil newsletter taking on a blog format, and other changes yet to come!

HOLIDAY PARTY
Society for Technical CommunicationSTC Pittsburgh will be hosting a holiday party on December 15th at Dave & Busters in the Waterfront. You are welcome to bring your family to join in the feast and fun and games!

UPCOMING EVENTS
include the Employment Round Table at the beginning of February, the Open Forum & Elections in April, and the End of Year Picnic in June. Also under consideration is a half-day event on Social Media & Networking.
